Isn't this the sort of clutches race car drivers use? Super grip and strong?

Not sure about price Sarge.. but with your type of granny shifting.. pressure might be too much for ya :D
:D :D

Ok on a serious note as Sarge has asked for;

A puck clutch is not one you need for everyday driving Ben, but then off course, a 4(number of contact area) puck is harder to drive than a 6 puck one. The engaging of gear is very rough but the clamping force is good. Another thing is I think the clutch wears out faster too...

I'd rather you stick with a single plate, heavy duty one...

Have Fun Ben.. :D

Puck clutches are a bastard on the street, they have no error factor will not let you slip them, ala hill starts are a scarey idea. They are either off or on and you must basically drop the clutch to get going. If you ride them they will burn and be useless, that said they are great if u use them right, I had on ein my RX2 when I owned it and with the HP it was pulling and the drag meets i used to go to it was the only type of clutch that would handle it. Still a total bastard to drive around in every day

puck clutch = very small friction point. hard to drive in real life....

yes they are the same as button....

these clutches hold friction less than a stock clutch...they grip hard.

probably best suited once you get hella torque....i doubt u will want one....mates rx7 had one and it was shit house

Booya,

Talk to Dave at RPW. I've got a Semi Ceramic Paddle Clutch from them (destroyed my factory one - not hard driving, just 300,000 +kms).

It's seems good - I can drive it like a normal clutch.

they have a variety of options (stage 1-5). (mild to wild)
