Recently a very annoying sqeaky nosie has been appearing from my rear left wheel and mainly becomes noticeable at slow speeds does anyone out there know what to do...I also recently had my rear brake pads replaced could this be the cause? :confused:

Sounds more like the common issue of rubbing hand brake shoes. I presume your car is a 3rd gen?? Having the position of the handbrake shoes adjusted should stop it - but it may come back after some time. Mitsubishi claim it causes no ill effect to either the handbrake mechanism or the brake drum.
I don't know what exactly is involved in adjusting it - so I can't really help you much more.

There is a locating clip that holds the bottom half of handbrake shoe in position ( stops it moving about), if this has become bent behind and not correctly supporting said shoe it causes this annoying low speed noise. Happened to me when i replaced the rear discs. Took me ages to figure it out. Hope this helps.
