Hi peoples,
Lookin' for some ideas.
Since I got Custom Plates (see link below), I now don't like the look of the rear part where the number plate is fitted.
There's always been scratches beside the number plates but before the plates were bigger and the scratches not as noticeable. Now my plates are only 4 chars and smaller.
Also, now that I have smaller plates, I'm left with the factory bolt holes which look ugly and cannot be removed. There stand out from the body work too. :doubt:
I don't want to place checker-plate in this space but do want something. The area just looks too big, empty and ugly.
I know one option is to get the bit repainted (to remove the scratches) and will probably get this done, but what about the large blank area around the plates and the two bolt holes?

Anyway, I'm open to ideas... Please

Get a piece of metal, paint it black, paint a white line 7.5mm thick around the outside, screw that into the stock plate holes, screw custom plate into it...

Something like this:

I think the black metal plate with white would definately look the goods. Very original, how many of those have you seen around? Matching the plates is very stylish and maybe a front one could be made up as well?
