hey guys,

Ive decided enough is enough and im gonna start working on my car alot more to save money. Today I bought 2 x 5 litre bottles of SP3 auto fluid from a mitsubishi place. $29 bucks a bottle. They told me i will need all of it as its 8 1/2 litres to change all the oil anyway. But, what oil do u use to do a flush? They told me, use a random auto tranny oil and just put it through the dipstick and let it run through to the bottom. Then fill it up with the good stuff. Is this right? I can find anywhere on the forum about this.

Also, does it really need 8 1/2 litres? I been reading the forum and seen ppl talking bout 4 or 5 litres. I have a 4 speed auto advance.

the convertor holds a few liters it will not come out when you drain from the sump plug
