I've been thinkin about this for a while and i'm startin to get some cash to do it but i'm still not sure on what i want. I would like some opinions on which colours to paint my car (the car in the picture isnt mine, i dont have a good camera:cry:) any input would be appreciated. It is currently a burgundy with minor scratches everywhere from my mums attempts to find keyholes:doubt: .

the yellow with white bottom makes your parabolics standout, which is cool

blood red with a white bottom, maybe

Or all kandy blue (american colour chat version)

Personally I'd go full white with a bit of pearl.

I think 2 toning like that (luxury lexus style 2 toning excepted) will make the car look a lot older than it is. :redface:

What about a deep blue pearl with a little black if you need it along the bottom :D

i reckon a fade from black into a dark blue would look good... gimme 5 mins and photoshop...

EDIT: Or not cos i cant find a single picture of a magna thats one solid color to work with... (i'm being lazy and dont wanna have to match two seperate colors)

I've done 2 qwik mor pics and i do agree with you ol' fart i do like the black top with white bottom but it would be really hot in summer. i'm willing to take any other advice on what to do next colour wise for pics and ill post any1's car up here in a different colour if they want to c what it looks like

a friend of mine recently got a new pulsar hatch, its black with a gold metallic shine through it, looks sweet! get that! :D (you can tell im not paying for it :P lol )

this one is the one i'd go for, but i would reckon that it would look better if it started to blend a bit above the wheel arch though, just my opinion :)

hmm...I cant say I like any of them to be honest.

I spray mini trucks and have done a couple of two tone jobs. they can look real cool if done right. the key is to divide the colours high on the car, usually on the first crease below the windows. the colours need to be broken up with a third colour pinstripe or flames or something otherwise it looks incomplete. I reckon a 2nd gen in two tone would look great with something like a white pearl bottom, silver pinstripe and mid to dark blue pearl top. If you want some inspiration just grab one of the mini truck mags and take a geez.

IMO (you asked for it), I don't like two tone on many cars (including our beloved Magna).
However, if you could use a flame or tribal decal to split the colours then maybe - just maybe you could make it work without ageing the car.
Dpack_1's idea of a faded colour scheme might work too. Shows people it's a custom job not just an old factory two tone attempt.

Take our ideas (they are often worth it) but in the end, go with what you like - you have your own personality and likes - and you have to drive it.

Dpacks idea is aweosme.........if TR-Envys wasnt selling his car, that would look awesome.....dont go with IN YOUR FACE colors......TR-Envys car is a nice example as the bottom half blends in with mags.....

Dpack and spider ken are on the right track I reckon. Try experimenting with the colour change hight. Where you are putting it seems to make the grill/bonnet area look a bit like a funny overbite, if ya get my drift. Try higher and lower to see how it looks. :D

And I've seen better photochops from you guys, wheres the photographer when you need him lol

go all black with red pearl but then u wont be able to see the lines of ur front bar as well but white with blue pearl will look hot aswell

All Black and it looks great but what would really set it of even more is if you put a red pearl over the black ,....

The last lot you posted I reckon are on the right track specially the first one as it's soft blend not in your face. Get that right and I reckon your on a winner. Personally I don't think there's anything hotter than a modded white TS magna :drool:.

2 tone = NOT, although there's something about Sufzs pic.
