I have a TH 2000 model magna, which has an airbag in the steering wheel. How can i centre the steering wheel? I heard without the airbag its easy ,but what about with airbag? Is it still the same way to centre it? I did a search but couldn't find anything

Without the airbag ya just take off the horn pad, undo the nut, pull off the wheel and centre it.

With the airbag I dunno, but I know I wouldnt play with it till I wandered down to a steering place or a panel beaters and got some pro advice. Or just get an alignment :)

unless the steering wheels been changed get a wheel alignment cause centering the wheel is part of the process.

I had my old KS XI with air bag steering wheel centred. They lock the steering in the centre position, then undo some nuts on the steering arm that is attached to the wheels and
straighten the wheels and then tighten the nut again.

Yeah with an airbag you have to get a wheel alignment. They centre it then adjust the steering arms acordingly.

I've had a few wheel allignments done, and told them to centre the wheel, but its never centered. Guess they just do a lousy job. Bastards

just put a couple of washes under ur seat rail on one side so u sit on and angle then its straight no hard fiddling with the steering wheel..

dont see why it matters tho just need to make use of the fully sick gangsta lean with one hand on the wheel. doesnt matter which part of the wheel ur holdin on to

Probably, I used to own toyotas and tyre places could never get the steering wheel centred even though the car would track true. Annoyed me like nothing else. I would resort to removing my steering wheel and trying to centre it best I could, but I could still not get it perfect because of the spline. But I've not had such problem with my maggie. I'm no expert but it could also have something to do with tyres, suspension and/or road camber.

My dad's pajero has this problem too.

Wheen you let go of the wheel, and leave it centre, the wheels angle to the left, and the car moves to the left. Wheel alignments don't work either. Its freaking annoying and just plain difficult to drive, especially on the highway.
