hey guys, im seriously screwed i think.
I took out the dash cluster to see if i could make some custom displays, diconected all the wires and wat-not.
now ive put it back in and when i turn the key to acc,the tacco goes up to 3,000RPM. then when i start it and it is idle'ing its at about 4,000RPM.
I dont know what to do, how do i fix it! someone help me.
i disconected the negative battery terminal hoping that it might reset the Computer but it is still out of wack.

oh, i got a 1996 TE.

U sure its not just ur needle position?? try pressing the needle in position while its at idle after its at operating temperature press the needle in where it used to idle (i hope u can remember) Otherwise u might want to set it to the factory standard idle speed on the gauge. Do this only in the meantime while u get ur car booked in to get it all reset, unless someone else can help u.

ive tried to move it but it just jumps back to the same spot. and i cant memba the idle either. is there a way to reset the computer myself??

i have a 2nd gen without efi so i have the bare essentials for engine, cant help u with reseting the computer.

someone has to know how i can get it fixed! im soo annoyed about this , i need it fixed urgently!
someone with a 3rd gen must know what i can do!
