hii there...
i'm looking to buy a car cd player,
with budget around $250
found an aiwa head unit with mp3 around $250
at strathfield web site..
what do u guys think ??....

I would say save for one more month and go for some thing with atleast good brand name

I have heard JVC makes some really good entry level MP3 Players

Aiwa is very good at music players especially portable ones and HiFi System.. Since SONY bought them over, they are still pretty bad with In car entertainment units.

I rather u spend a bit more to get something from SONY or Pioneer..

I think with your budget, you can actually get a decent Clarion unit...

because you are on budget ,

Check JB HIFI , HIFI SuperMarket , StrathField (they got big sale on till this weekend), Auto Barn etc

but if you wana go abit higher then Try DBFever in brunswick
but you be ready for the prices, coz they normaly have medium to high end stuff.

If JB Hi-Fi are anything like the one in sydney, do you shopping elsewhere first and THEN go there, the sydney one will do ANYTHING to get your business.

I got a $479 (at the time) head unit for $350
