how would you go about getting your transmission checked by a pro ? what do they do just take the car for a drive and see if its changing nicley or do they hook it up to a machine?
when i brougth my car it had a sticker near the moter saying it had a new trans and im a little worried that its starting to play up.the only time it feels like it playing up is when other people are in the car with me and i have to drive like an old poppy(taking off really slow and driving slowley thru the gears) with my normal driving it dosent miss a beat.does that sound like a concern? i drive a 2002 tj sports2 5speed tippy

take it to a dealer or a really good auto trans specialist, as they can read any error codes on it. they plug in a computer into the transmission socket (under and behind steering coloumn). are there any specific you can relate to what problems you are experiencing??? have you got it shift gate or normal....what is it doing????
