Now that mitsi have stopped making the magna are you guys going to change your name or are you going to register a second url like www.aussie380.com because i want to put a sticker on my 380 but i dont want to put a aussiemagna sticker on a 380. i also think this would draw alot more 380 drivers to these forums. what you all think.

If you had done a search, you would have seen that this issue has been dealt with last year. I can't be bothered to look for it myself.

The position of the club is that it is the status quo for now, but it can be revisited later if they sell a TON of 380's. That said, the grand total is 2500 380's sold (or there abouts), so it isn't exactly a huge amount of the MMAL large family car build tally yet. I'm hoping that it changes this year.

Oh and AMC can also mean Australian Mitsubishi Club.... and lets face it, if you drive the three diamonds, you can't be all bad, can you? Hell, some of our Mods don't even drive Magnas or 380's anymore, and we still let them moderate. We are a fairly inclusive bunch, and we welcome any 380 owners with open arms.

As for a second URL and re-directing here, we already have 2 (aussiemagna.com and magnaclub.org), but I would imagine if you volunteered to pay the fees for such a domain, I imagine that would be accepted.

there is alot more then that sold now... sales of the 380 have been steadily improving and starting to get very close to MMAL's original sales predictions. Mitsubishi where always expecting a slow start, but the doom and gloom theories that some have come out with are far wide of the mark

I was only talking confirmed end of month figures released so far. I think it was 1500-odd in November and 1000-odd for December. Once the January figures kick in, It should nearly double the total I should think.

We have a section for the 380.

We are the Australian Magna Club, the name won't change. It's a registered not for profit organistion name.

If we were to change the name to all the cars that are in the club then we'd have the Australian Magna, Diamante, Sigma, Verada and 380 Club.

No name change.
