Hi I have a TS Magna and am wanting to add some ~6" speakers to the front of it. It only has 4" in the dash which look like they could not hold anything deeper than the stock standard ones. Has anybody got any suggestions for Pods for the doors that would not break the bank or another way to mount something to give a little extra punch.

You can mount any sized 4" speaker in the dash, just need to cut abit of the plastic away (dw it does nothing).
Or you can cut out a 5 3/4" hole in the door trim, and even put in a raiser that lines up with the 6inch hole in the metal frame of the door.
KS verada came with door pods, you might be lucky to find a pair, but they are pretty rare. Autobarn have custom pods to look at or you can make your own if you know how.

I've just finished doing this very thing. I have a 95 TS wagon. They have speakers holes in the doors. Pull the trims off and have a look... it's just they didn't fit them to anything but the elites and some veradas. Stupid idea. I guess you can make a 'pod' but easier and cheaper is just make an mdf spacer and bolt it onto your door. Then screw the driver in through the trim (which you have to cut a hole in unfortunately). Wires can be put it by taking out the kick panels, the glovebox and the little plastic surround about it, and the plastic steering wheel, coin pocket surround on the drivers side. You can pop out the rubber umbilical thing that takes the wires to the doors, and starting from the interior, poke your speaker wire out through the hole in the bodywork, then get a coat-hanger, and push it through the umbilical. You can get the umbilical almost straight by pulling all the wiring loom from the doors back through a little way. Once the coat hanger is through, wrap your speaker wire around the end and crimp the coathanger over it to form a tight hook. Then just pull it through the umbilical. Then poke it through the hole in the door and voila... speaker wires in your door. The passenger side is actually easier, because there's more room to get to the hole, and less wires in the umbilical already. If you get splits, the kick panels make perfect spots to mount the tweeters for a good staging effect. Mount them as high under the dash as you can without obscuring them, and aim them for the opposite passengers ears.
Hope it helps you!
