View Full Version : Wheel Offset for 19" X 8.5" rims
Hi I've done a search on offsets in the forum but could not find a definitive answer.
I am going to get some 19" X 8.5" mags on my TL VR-X. Was wondering what the offset should be. I will be changing from lows to superlows as well. I do not want to order a set of rims with the wrong offsets. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. :P

heres the go,
a 35+ offset will pull the wheel out towards the guard and make it look fatter but might hit on the gaurd lips which means you may need to roll the gaurds.
a 42+ offset which is usually the other option will sit the wheel near level with the stock rims but since you will be getting 8.5 rims will have to be careful that the rear will not hit on the rear trailing arms.
my hubbie works in the industry and if you tell me the type of rim you like or have choosen i can find out exactly which fitment is best.
hope this helps DEE

Thanks for the reply. But does it matter which or what type of rims they are even though its the same size I want which is the 19" x 8.5"?
