Hi i am new to thes forums so any help would be appreciated
My car wont go!!! sometimes will others not, I think mainly when hot but sometimes cold.
It will wind over but wont fire. It has oil fuel a good battery.
I read in anolder post about turning the key on and of ten times and then turn to start and it has managed to get it going up until now. It has been doing this for about a month.
sometimes fine for days and then maybe does it all the time?
there must be someone who can pinpoint this problem(hopefully)
can anyone help me with fault codes? how do I read them/find them (non-electronic dash), I heard about shorting out two wires which will let you into diagnostics
going nuts robin

get your fuel pump relay checked out, just to be sure.
if your having problems kicking it over.
flick it quickly from ACC to ON about 10 times as quick as u can, then try and start it.

I have exactly the same problem!!!! it will wind over fine, it sounds like it is about to go, but it just wont fire!! they poured some fuel down this thing under the bonnet but when you tried to start it, it would just spit the fuel back up!! And when you do try and start it, it smells really badly of fuel!!
Please help!!

hi again
well this morning got some little nodes that plug into the injector plugs
no light hence no fuel
checked fuel pressure with proper guage thingy
no fuel pressure
went looking for the fuel pump relay but couldn't find it
pulled out the fuse with a picture of an engine on it (inthe fuse box near the battery)
and the terminals were corroded/dirty
then it went
did we find the problem or did it just happen to go at that time
well its going but now Its unlikely that anyone would be able to diagnose what the problem is/was, seeing as the cars going now
I'd love to learn how to read the fault codes
Oh yeh went into our local Misubishi dealer and all the help I got from them was bring it in and we will fix it. no harm to them but its very hard to find an intermittent fault
but they were very rude and unhelpful as if i was doing them out of business
at least the local auto electricians did the best that they could do as far as advice without seeing the car
anyway I'll let you know what happens next
This probably wont be the end of it
Cheers Robin
