Got meself a Pod 2 day and sum CAI done too.The pod still needs a bit more work with sum brackets,but stays in orite.

opted against the K&N MAS specific oval pod did ya?
the setup while practical, looks dodgy as, dont open ya bonnet at car shows :lol:

wont that disrupt the MAS???? would be the pod be better where it is now or down the bottom where the fog lights are???

I like how the way u used the OEM airbox to make a heatshield out of it but may I suggest that the shield be placed on the let hand side as opposed to the right hand as it's the left hand side which gets more hot air when the secondary fan kicks in at the radiator.
I did mine with Aluminium and what I got was a differecence of 6-8 degrees on different points of the filter measured using the sensitive wire thermometer.
What filter is that? Looks alot like Simota but hey.. it works right?
I have used the Apexi Round filter before and I have not found any problems with the MAS not reading properly. I would say that it will work nicely in your car too...

Probably stuff all in it. If it were down low I'd be worried about how often you'd have to check it for dust, damage and water intake.

The Pod i'm using is a Redline 1,tis a pretty good brand for the price u pay(a lot cheeper than K+N too)
I'm jus tryin to figure out what u mean man?
Do u have a pic orf ur pod setup?
Then it would be easier to understand wat u mean :)

Craig, i suggest for your CAI, that u use the stock intake manifold, and have the ducting come up underneath the pod. therefoire creating 2 inductions. just my opinion, which is wat i intend to do if i ever get a pod. cant wait to see it at the mext cruise :)

would have done that,but my box has been chopped up to fit the pod :)
Prolly gonna do a custom job on the box so u don't see the pod at all,jus need to get a bracket setup for the pod 1st,then the customed box :)
