Just got my new idle controller, this must be the problem, can someone tell me the correct way to fit/calibrate the little sucker please?

It should be just below your throttlebody to the left, has a sensor plug connected also. Pretty sure she simply screws out, be wary that your engine has cooled down because they get damn hot.
Theres no particular way to recalibrate one of these, other than to inspect it. Though if you believe the idle's rough there is one screw ontop of the TB which allows you to control the air bypass valve.. I had to replace my idle controller 2 weeks ago due to the fact my 3rd gen was idling at 2g and would fairlymuch drive itself to any destination.

I will just put it in and see, its got to be better than what it is now.
Its got a "spring loaded thing in there, do you put any tention on it or just fit it ?
