Hey all

I just bought myself a new Panasonic HU (CQ-DF783W) and am going to attempt to install it myself. I tried getting off the dash panels today but but only succeded in getting pissed off with them. Can someone who has done this give me some tips on how to get them out without breaking something?

Im going to run it with the stock speakers until I get some new ones but i am unsure how they are wired. Does anyone know if they are wired with common ground? (and yes I know they are under rated but I'm not going to crank the sound system and they only have to survive a month or so.)

Lastly, the old harness question. I will have to alter/rewire stuff to fit the new unit won't I?

So is it ok to wire the stock speakers to my new HU without any rewiring of the speakers?

you can connect the stockies to the new thHU by matching e wires and thats it...

then later you can just change the speakers...
