Hehe I now know why my "Charge" light was always on...

The fuse is now replaced.

Please note it is not blown, just melted. What could have caused this?

err which fuse is that? my charge light was occasionally on too, especially at night. thanks........

I gsather that that is one from under the bonnet in the large fuse block on the guard...
for it to be like that you are drawing tooo much current through the wires...
Could be if you have a arge stereo or some spotties or something it is sucking so much juice from the battery that the alternator cannot keep up and therefore it is over loading the circuit...
NOT GOOD... imagine what is happening to your harness.....
you need to sort this out quick smart... or else you could find your self with a totally melted harness and thats BAD!!
