I have just bought a 2000 EI KH Verada that came with a Eurovox CD stacker (model # MR 907655), however the unit does not function.

Does anyone have any ideas, could it be a fuse (I have looked at them). It appears the unit is getting no power as it makes no noise when the eject button is pressed. The radio itself functions fine, so the head unit is OK.

Might have a disk stuck inside it.....

check power wires with a multimeter, might be a loose ground.

Although may also be a faulty stacker. My stacker (pioneer) was faulty when I got the car. got it serviced and works like new

"check power wires with a multimeter, might be a loose ground."

I unscrewed the stacker from its bracket under the front seat, it connects using a single plug to another cable that disappears under the carpet. THis single cable presumably supplies the power - I tested with a multimeter but could not find any power.

I assume this cable connects to the radio/cassette unit mounted in the centre console ?

That unit functions perfectly.

Removing the centre console looks like a horrendous job, so I'm reluctant to do that. Does the service manual that Gregorys produce have instructions for removing the centre console or does anyone know of a link that provides instructions ? Its an EI KH model Verada.

Its a sticky in the car audio section

Pretty sure your stacker uses the power leads under the centre console underneath where the drink holders are. There is a white plug. Try that perhaps.

If that's the chunky one that's attached to a bar under the drink holders you're thinking of? that's not it, well, wasn't on mine anyway, hah. i was told it's used for a handsfree set up. unless u mean under and then up again?

yeah thats the one, it is handy as it has power, acc and ground there. My stacker came plugged into that, thought that oem stackers might have been the same...
