I was just wondering if anyone has had a tinny noise on a TJ when they shut the drivers side door.

It sounds like it is coming from the drivers side back wheel guard, but then again sound can get thrown quite easily

Any help would be appreciated

Yeah I was just thinking the same thing.
I think it may be coming from the exhurst.

I am going to go down to the local dealer tonight and see if they can work out what it is.

Will let you know what he comes up with if they can work it out

I have just heard from a co worker that my front passenger wheel guard is making a rattling noise. I guess I will get them to look at that too

The tinny noise I believe is the exhurst bracket is loose.

Also the inner wheel guard on the passenger side has be ripped to the ****er. It looks like it came loose from the bolt and the wheel has been rubbing on it.

At the moment trying to get that fixed under warrenty, a car that has only done 26000 shouldn't have this happen to it just yet. The problem is I don't know when it happened and as far as I know it could have almost been like this when I bought it

Mine does it too. Also do you guys find that your drivers door sounds like it's metal on metal when you close it compared to the front passenger door which sounds softer. I once closed the drivers door on a 99 KH Verada and it sounded like my front passenger door. I have checked and my drivers and passenger doors have the same rubber seals etc so I wonder why one sounds different from the other? Other Exec TJ's I have closed drivers on make the same tinny slammy sound as well.
