Hey there!

Just a quick question to those who are relatively experienced. I have a Magna 93 TR V6. I've noticed on start up, idiling and take off that there's whitish smoke coming from the tailpipes. Any ideas what it might be and roughly how much it'll cost to fix?

steam... it could be cold? white smoke indicates water is getting in somehow. blue smoke means oil is burning. and if the smoke is black, you put the wrong fuel in... :bowrofl:

sounds like your VALVE STEM SEALS......

the seals cost about $40-$50.

I can definitely tell ya it aint steam... I notice it does it at sets of lights when car temp is warm but it has done it breifly on start up and also take off.

This might also be the time to say that its burning oil as well as I've had to have been checking the oil and topping it up on a regular basis.

Also Samurai if it was the valve stem seals... would you recommend a place to get these fixed preferably in the Sydney Metro area?

Thanks again for you're help!
