im having this weird problem when im in third gear and i floor it it gets up to 3000 then kinda drops back down to like 2700-2800 then kicks in and takes off like a powerband....anyone know why it would do this i havent noticed this before

definately matters that its manual. that is very strange... my guess is going to be a slipping clutch or something wrong with your pressure plate, causing you to slip until 3 thousand before something causes it to get grip, match wheel speed, then zoom off fully engaged.

hmmm..my clutch is wearing out....gonna need a new one soon i always knew that could that be the prob

sounds like yur clutch is slipping

do it in 5th gear from say 60 or so and put yur foot down and see it it goes up

ah another clutch bites the dust!! :cool:

it may not be all that urgent, but it sounds like u'll be up for a new clutch at some stage.
see my earlier posts, i replaced mine about 4 wks ago - $950 all up was the best deal i came across. :D :D

haha i had same problem that started out that small then went to 6500rpm then dropped to like 3000rpm, just tell people you have a high stall :P
