yeah bro ill help you, first of all, forget anything about an exhuast pipe lol

You will see on your air flow sensor (the black box directly behind your air filter) that there is a clip with wires running from it. Unclip the clip. Now cut these wires, leaving a bit of length on the clip so you know which wire to reconnect to which wire once you have extended the wires(they are all coloured differently).

To extend the wires all you have to do is simply buy the correct wiring for your car (from memory automotive 2mm wiring, dunno the other specs )and using crimps or solder, add in this extra wiring to extend it . Remember to err on the side of extending it too much, as it is alot easier to bundle up some wiring than to bull**** around with the wires again llol

i recommend using crimps (wire connectors) as they are less fiddly and tidier for an amateur.

Also, be very careful with your air flow sensor, you don't want to get any dirt or grime in it as it will give an inaccurate reading, send an error code etc.

good luck with it !

ps. if your in perth and are really stuck with it, give me a pm with your mobile number and i'll give u a hand

later

7 core trailor wire really helps too. So much easier , but still have to get the joins down on both ends, but the lenght is all the same, and its a much better job.

Still unsure about the pipe lengths though :doubt:
