will 8inch wide mags running 225/50/16 fit under rear guard of tr magna

Depends on the offset, i'm running XR6 mags which are 8 inch wide they fit, but the offset is a little further out than normal. It's a tight squeeze in there :P.

so you say ford wheels will fit. the 16's i'm looking at are 30-40 offset. however very interested in the xr6 mags

Yeh i have no idea what offset they are sorry, could probably fit the feels in a little closer to the car, but not by much. 8 inch wide 16's though is abit excessive :P.

I had 235/45r17's on my TR no problems.

Im running 18x8 mags on my 94 TR and there inst any problems with them as long as the offsets are right and the rolling pattern or something like that is legal, just ask the people at the tyre place and they should b able to tell u if it is legal and if there is any problems.

me too, except occasional scrubs against the front plastic guard liners when turning over a bump. I've seen magnas do this on standard wheels/tyres too.
