Okai, If you read my post the other day you would know my heater core was busted.
I pulled out the whole dash, pulled out the heater unit, put in the new core, and now the heater unit is back in the car.

Hooked up the plumbing for the heater core so I could test it out before I start putting the whole dash back in.

Started the car, it ran normal for a few seconds then it just starting choking real bad, like it was going to cut out.

Like the revs were droping really really low and going back to normal (mind you the instrument cluster wasnt in so I couldnt tell)

If I reved it, it was okai, but at idle it would just continiously choke like its going to stall and sometimes cut out completly.

I drove it down my driveway into my garage with the cluster out, so I dont believe the cluster is causing the problem.

Could it be possible ive missed reconnecting some cable? if so what cable would cause this.

You'd hafta think something isnt connected properly. As to what, I dunno. I'd just go around checking plugs to make sure they are tight, also, sometimes when you push a plug together a single pin can get pushed out of the plug.

You can usually find them by pulling gently on each wire just behind the plugs. If its been pushed out the wire will come right out. Just push it back in with a small flat blade screwdriver till it goes fully home.

Apart from that, just check everything you can. :D

k this happend to me when i was installin interior lights and there was a short. id didnt look bad but when i started my car reved up to like 2 grand and then droped below 500rpm and died on me so i started it up again and took it for a drive and all was well but when i cum to a complete stop it starts to stall. so i check all my fuse and i had blown a fuse for the interior lighting. changed that and all was fine. so my guess is that there was a shrt so check ur fuse.

If you ran the car with the instument cluster out chances are you put the computer into limp mode. There is a sensor in the speedo (at least on TN EFI - TS) that sends a speed signal to the ECU.

Disconnect the battery, reconnect and see what it's doing then.

In my TS I had this problem. Just disconnect your battery and leave it for about half an hour, then connect it again and leave to idle for a bit. Worked for me
