ok last night i was heading home about 1 ish and my headlights wouldnt turn on my parkers work but no head lights or high beams.

i get no blue high beam light in the cabin to say they are on and i checked all fuses and bulbs and they are all good.

i havnet had this trouble before with the car and have no idea where to look now as it aint fuse or buld related.

could it be the stalk in the car where the light switch is.

the only problem i have around that stalk area is the horn which hardly works either.

please sum1 help i have rego soon and they wont pass me with no head lights.

could possibly be the switch, i wouldnt worry too much about the horn, it is rare that you find a magna with a working horn. lol

i would avoid taking it to mitsubishi, ring aruond a couple of auto electritions (yellowpages help (http://www.yellowpages.com.au)) on monday morning and see what they say. make sure you ring a few and go with who ever seems the most confident that they already know what it is.

if you take it to mitsu, they will simply get their service guys to drop it off at the auto electritions, get them to fix it, and then charge you an excess on the bill.
