yeh, had that to, i just put in 2 of the screws i could and did em up real tight, but if you want em in 100% well youll have to get to cutting the parcel shelf and thats a pain in the ass, not to mention on the illegal side of things

Or better yet - get into the boot with a small drill and drill out the screw holes. Throw the screws in the bin. Then mount the speakers with small Hex-wrench headed bolts and nuts - these you can get really tight and the speaker will come down to fit nicely. Use the sort of bolt that needs an Allen Key for the head - easier under the sloping glass.

Get into the Inside of the Boot and with a Pair Of Pliers Tub the Holes.. No cutting needed just get in and Bend the Edges downwards

yeh! i was going to say that too. buy/make a spacer out of MDF or something and then screw the 6x9 onto that

got it... just bashed the crap out of the sloping metal bits until they were square. fits perfect now, and i can keep the original speaker covers i just had to cut out some of the plastic on the back of it..

I just did some 'percussive mainenance' on the holes with a steel weight attached to a handle.

Worked wonders.... :bowrofl:

mine fitted straight in
I fitted Pioneer 6x9's in the TH last week, no cutting or "modifying" required :D
