We'll im finally getting around to having a spray done on my TJ exec.
Reason for the spray was two things
#1 scratches on the front/back end as it was a company car and not well taken care of
#2 want to color code the side skirts etc to make it look less stock and more sporty
Anyway, can anyone add to this list of what to paint.
Left and right side skirt (grey -> white)
Left and right side mirror (black -> white)
Back bumper scratches
Front bumper left and right side scratches
Left and right side stripe (below door handle black->white)
Any other areas I have forgotten to list?
What about the grille area (or just the front in general), I just put on a KJ grille instead of the stock..
I think the look im going for is what mits does between the exec/advance
Hopefully all goes well, can't wait till it doesn't look so stock :)

How much did you get quoted for the whole job and how long will it take?
Put up a pic of your car as it is. That way its easier us to see if you missed anything.:D

dont paint the grill.. cars looks ****house if the grill is colour coded (except for the minor few like mazda 3's and 6's..) just looks like someone has done a cheap and quick front respray and couldnt be bothered masking up the grill..
oh and if your going to get scratches done on either end of your bumper, id just get the whole bumper done.. touch ups are alright but you still know they are there.
id do mirrors, lower grey bits on the doors and the grey strip up a bit higher on the doors. and also any scratches that you may have.. dont do the grill or the black bit below it in the bumper..

I won't do the grill, it is a brand new chrome KJ grill.
However, I'm undecided on the black bit below it in the bumper. (where the fog lights go etc)
Btw, the grill was 210 or something but got it for 180 in the end (trade price according to my mits dealer).
I haven't got a quote yet for the job.
Probably the whole front/rear bumper will need to be taken off/sprayed as they both have alot of scratches. Along with the mirrors, side skirts and the strip on the sides below the door handles.
Any idea how much id be looking at for all this work to be done?
Also how long would they need my car for?

wouldnt have a clue.. for me to get my splitter painted (very small attachment peice to bottom of the ralliart front bars - only about 5cm wide) was $120.. id expect about $200 for a front bumper.. but thats a massive stab in the dark figure..
i'd say $250 from a cheap panel beaters (i know the location of one in SA), $400-500 from rip off panel beaters.
edit: i just checked your profile, your in vic...guess the one i know is useless lol
