after some horrible things said on my last pole. i have decided to paint my centre console
pls vote if it should stay what i have started with or if i should go darker in colour to match my suede trim?

Not crazy about the console but the doors look good.. :D

NO i want to make it the painted colour... it is already suede...
so are all my other trims... problem is centre console gets too dirty being material :(
btw.. the bit around the radio's is already suede... and thats what i want too change...
also the ashtray will be painted in metallic silver. and gear stick changed... so on blah blah

also i have only done that 1 piece to see the colour contrast with my trimz
so bear that in mind all...

The colours are different, not so much in shade as in actual colour itself.

You'll want more of a purple in the centre console to reach the colour of your suede. Also keep in mind you'll never get exactly the same, even if you get it made up because the paint will be one solid colour and the suede changes depending on angle.

The idea is cool though, definitely go for it.

I agree with KB.. u dont want to necessarily go darker, but change the shade of the colour.. and go to a deeper, warmer blue to match the suede..

The suede looks awesome though..

got it from spotlight.. and its $20 for 1M x 1.5M that was enough to do all four doors and centre and all sorts..

Hey i've been thinking of doing something like this, even though lots of ppl hate painted panels. I'd like to see the inside once you hav finished it. By the way i'm still confused. Are you trying to paint the centre console darker to match the suede or change the suede (around the radio) to match the centre console

changing the console to match the suede doors.. also painting the radio and area.. and above.

suede looks good but it can become iritable to clean if its in the position like a floor (horizontal), but if its in the position like the doors (vertical) because you would get more dirt. It's up to you in the end. I think suede is the way, but the paint looks good.......too hard to decide:rant:

i still think leave the suede around the stereo n stuff.. just repaint the blue bit :D
