Hi all,

I am thinking of using premium fuel (the one BP has as its just down the road)

Anyway, are you supposed tune your car somehow to get maximum performance etc out of it?

Also, which ones claim to clean your engine?

all you can do if your car/ecu is stocko is advance the timing a little... this will mean that you have to run off bp ultimate (or equivelent) until you put the timing back to whatever it was otherwise your motor will ping. this is provided that you can actually change the timing manually in a 3rd gen...

i was running bp ultimate for a while at 17-18 degrees advanced (4cylinder carby)... was pretty good, but premo petrol is now expensive :doubt:

if you wanna know what fuel is better than what fuel, use the search... it's been covered lots. the results vary heaps. :)
