hey everyone, i was wondering if it is possible to fit an aftermarket carbon-fibre bonnet onto a TE magna, iv seen a magna (TR-TS) cruising around with one, but havn't seen any TE+ magna's with one

i reckon it could be pretty good for weight reduction and possibly cold air intake(small scoopes and vents in the bonnet)

any replies are greatly appreciated

i reckon everything is possible if you're willing to pay for it. CF hood should set you up around 2000ish, but they will need you original bonnet as a mock. btw i would be nice to see a magna with it, never seen magna with CF hood before tho...

i have a black boot lid LOOKS cF sorta :D

It looks good on white color but remember it is an un Roadworthy item.

Its un-road worthy as in a crash the carbon fibre doesnt crumple...there for causing more injury to you...

Just paint ya bonnet black...still looks cool...

But couldnt you put vinyl stickers on it..
I nkow in USA whole cars are done in Vinyl.... professional people who can put it on curved surfaces so good you think it is painted...
So ......
you can keep you origional bonnet but but a CF style sticker over the complete bonnet top.

dude! i was going to carbon my bonnet with real carbon, it wouldve cost me 284a$ to just cover it , still crumples but looks shit hot!!, who said it has to be matt finish anyway, most carbon bonnets are finished in gloss anyway, ps i finished making my frontbar outta carbon, just waiting for killbilly to post pics!!
