hey all i got a small problem with the battrie :rant: . dont mind my speeling. i got a short somewhere in the engine bay so my battries going dead over night. its had some home wiring with the last owner. so i really dont know whats wrong. so send me some help and tell my what might be doing this :rant:

do you have and know how to use a multimeter to measure amps? :)

disconnect the negative terminal, use a draw tester (its a small screwdriver looking thing with a clear handle and bulb in it, that has a wire and pin coming out of the top) connect it inbetween the negative terminal and the negative cable.
If you have a parasitic draw the light will come on, start pulling fuses one at a time til the light goes out. when it does you'll figure out what circuit the short/draw is on and will narrow down the number of things you need to look at to fix the problem.

Thats what you do with the multimeter set to amps, ya just look to see if current is being drawn and pull fuses til it drops to almost nuttin. Pretty much the same proceedure just 2 ways to do it. :D

i got the problem fix with a bit of money spent. i couldnt do it myself so i got the pros out and they found it. ok bye
