So, the time has come that my current amp has failed, but will be covered under warranty, hooray! Now, at the moment, I have a SoundStream lil' wonder lw5.830(70w x 4 + 180w x 1 - @4 ohms) , it's not a bad amp and had done me well for a nice quality sound coming from the inside of my car. However, i'm not gettnig the volume i really want from it. So the bloke who sold me that, and all my other stuff brang up the idea of getting a TR500/4 (125w x4 @4 ohms). Now the idea is, to have the fronts (LS6.0C - 130w) running off 2chnls and have 2 chanls bridged to the sub(12" exact), then have the rears (SST6.9) off the deck.
Now the change over is going to be an extra $650 + installation changes.

What do you sound buffs think?

Very nice amps if you can afford it... How much will install be? Did he give you a ball park figure.

the install is gonna be about 100, that's by an autherised SS installer (thus keeps 2 yr warranty on the amp)
