hey pplz
just recently ive debadged my th but after doing so havent been able to get rid of all the marks from where the mitsubishi badge was. ive polished it using autoglym and yeh its done most but u can still see the outline of the writting. just sonedering if anyone had any ideas or know how of getting rid of it.

this has been covered many times and u will get all the answers if u search the forums but ill help u out. when i debadged my TH i used a hairdryder to heat the badge and the glue behind it and with a plastic splatchular (sp) removed the badge. then with a mild cutting compound i went over the left over marks and carefully buffed it off. most ppl ue teetree oil (sp) and that did the trick for me.

teetree oil is a good one, or just keep cutting it back using scratch x

Does this mean that the badges are not clipped on via holes in the boot lid etc?

nah mate there just stuck on, very simple to do, theres an awesome write up about on www.fastmagna.com, its what i used to do mine, remember set aside a good hour or so

it could be possible that your paint may have faded, hence the difference in colour under the badging. If this is the case, there probably isnt much you can really do about..

If its a metallic colour with a clear coat, then just keep going away at it with meguiars scratchX or something similar.. they should come out
