alright my mags are currently in acid baths and will be for the next 3 days (refer to other post about this).

Now when they come out this will be bare alloy. Now I'm looking for ideas of what i can do to them. I beleive the options are rechroming, pollishing or painting. Does anyone know a good place in Perth that does any of these? Any ideas on prices, i believe pollishing and painting is about the same $ but rechroming is a bit more expensive.

Also does anyone know what process is used to polish rims? What products, can I poslish them myself with the right equipment, what equipment do u need
Cheers
Paul

when i was looking into Advanti Flash Chromes the guy at tyrepower told me that they dont come in chrome and to get them chromed would cost an extra $70-$100 per rim i got no idea if that a right figure but thats what he told me

I think the best chroming is done by electrolosis and is probably the best option. Wouldn't imagine it would be cheap though.

Atomic MPC, oh the memories. I used to be adicted to that magazine, to computers, and hardware etc. I knew everything that was on sale, and how much i could get it for from the cheapest suppliers . . . then i got a girlfriend. The relationship didnt last long, but it did open my eyes to things apart from computers . . . and so, along with girls, I became a Magna entusiast on this website.

ahhh yes... most girl's can stand being put behind cars, but not computers... thats why my girl is awesome, so knows i try to put her first but if it don't happen she's ok with it.
