I was told that the signal from the MAF sensor is in pulses and not like most other cars that their signal from the MAF sensor is in a voltage signal, can someone comfirm this.

Correct. The Magna MAF is a Karman Vortex type which represents load with a varying frequency instead of a varying voltage as most others do.
