Hey guys

Im thinking of getting a gear boot like this

does anyone know if theres a car that came out with a similar sized gear boot to the 2nd gen magnas in this style? i know the early model lancers had them..

if not ,anyone know where I can get a generic one (ie. trim to size)

Precisely :P I quite like the look, and cant stand the saggy look of mine..

ive done a photo shop of one i found at autobarn, and obviously it will look better in real life, not distorted and twisted and stuff :P just gotta wait till payday

how much they charge for them at autobarn, if they are cheap i'll take a look, do some modifications to it and make it fit :badgrin: :P :D

yeh they look about the same size no harm in getting one from a wrecker and findin out couldnt see it being more then $10

righto will do..i plan on taking the plate that holds the boot in place to both the wreckers and autobarn to see if both kinds fit..i prefer the autobarn one, as i dont like the flat parts near the top on the 1st gen gear boots...all this shall wait till payday

do you know what colours they come in?gen1's came either in a marone, dark blue, grey or chocolate brown interior depending on year, luxury level and colour of the outside of the car.

this is mine...
do all the boots have that huge bulge under the knob? i dont like the bulge. i like the ones my bro has in the 84 model 626, would get a pic, but he is either working or partying so he's never home (he doesnt save because he blows it on booze) i think i might just get an orange or black boot and put that in (i'm going for orange and black interior for those that didnt know).
