ok, obviously ive had no experience with the magna clutches.

Im tossing up between getting the stock daiken or xtreme clutch or the heavy duty xtreme/custom made clutch by a local manufacturer.

anyone that has driven both, is it worth the extra $500 or so for the heavy duty.

also any other brands you recommend

I say definitely invest the extra few hundred and get a heavy duty clutch.

I went through two standard ones by not thrashing but being very enthusiastic. I would go for the heavy duty one. Make sure its not too heavy though or you will have one beefy calf.

i like heavier clutches, the magna ones are way too light

beg to differ i have done 160 on my clutch ..

never knew how soft standard clutch was till i drove a mates and then got back into mine, nearly put my foot through the floor HAHA

i think if u gonna spend the money on manual conversion, u may aswell get heavy duty clutch

I totally agree with dave.
Going from my car to the other manual magna- you can feel a huge difference between the 2 clutches.

if a heavy clutch is installed you may get other problems with the peddle bushes wearing out or the clutch fork ...assembly breaking.

well if you wanted the 'pimp feel' while picking up women and cruising.... heavy duty clutches tend to be more jerky than the stock ones ....?? dunno if its true..but thats what i've experienced...
