some bastards have scratched the f*** through me rear side door. tried a light cut and polish and that worked pretty good but they are still noticable.. so i was jsut wondering if any one has got thier whole car repsrayed and how much it cost them?? i know the whole respray thing is a bit over board but i wouldnt mind a black wagon and jsut curious on how much it would actaully cost! :P lol

how long is a piece of string?

could be anywhere from $2000 to $4000+

also changing the colour completely means they have to do the door jams, engine bay etc etc so they have to account for extra materials and labour to do so.. best bet is to ask a panel beater/spray painter/auto repairer

edit* if you do go for a black respray.. go a nice metallic black, similar to mazda's black.. :D not ****ty mitsubishi black

as deciple said if u want do an insurance job. i need to get my front bar resprayed so ye we go halves :shifty:

as for price u get wat u pay for mate. if u pay 2grand for a full respray or even less sounds like a bargin but remember the quality of the paint work will depand on the price.

Go outside at 3AM with your keys and scratch every bumper and panel on the car.. then claim it on insurance as malicious damage. You won't loose your rating either

Just make sure no one sees you :shifty:

....But I didn't tell you that

No, you mean unbelievable show-class paint jobs. You can get a good paintjob for under $5000.

Also, it's not just about how much you pay. You could pay $5000 at one place and be happier with a $4000 job. Some places overcharge, or sometimes their work isn't always up their own standard.

yeah man mettallic black like holdens panther mica (black with green pearl or something) woulod be sweet as!
only prob with black is that you have to make sure all the panels are dead straight. black makes panel imperfections stand out heaps more. white hides em.

 If you gotta pay 15 grand up for "a good decent paint job", wouldn't it make more sense to just buy a new car? Are you pulling figure out of thin air, mate? Either that or you know some spray painters who moonlight as scam artist.
