hey guys.

i bought a VIA EPIA MS12000 motherboard for a car pc project. i have everything i need ( case, motherboard, harddrive, slimline slot load panasonic dvd burner, powersupply, lilliput 7inch touchscreen )
cept for ram which i will buy soon.

howeva with the description of the motherboard it states " the VIA EPIA MS also offers support for 6 USB 2.0 connectors, 6-channel audio, as well as S-Video and RCA TV-Out (NTSC & PAL) and 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet. "

however these Pin headers i think there called. arent included in the box that i bought. the ones for usb and audio and video.

the only built in ports on the board are VGA out and ethernet.

so my question is does anybody have any spare " pin headers "

i can bare with just the VGA out. so all im asking for is the audio ones and the usb

see link if you still have no f***n idea what im talking about.

link (http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/mainboards/mini_itx/epia_ms/index.jsp)

Cheers in advance

ahhh yes the good ol' carputer (i'm working on 1 myself but using full size gear).

for the USB connectors use a USB backplate i got a few if u want or the other dude said he had.

for the audio its designed for a case with front h/p, mic connectors so your best bet is to get a sound card for it (cost about 11-20 bucks from PC stores)

anyway i'm wondering where u got ya touchscreen from and how much as i'm after one

so how does this soundcard connect to the motherboard ? via these Pin headers thingys

also as for the touchscreen it was from this guy (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Lilliput-7-Touch-Screen-XGA-TFT-Car-Monitor-VGA-PC_W0QQitemZ5851463072QQcategoryZ14946QQssPageName ZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) i think it ended up costing around $366 delivered.

I thought i'd just chime in and say that the reason you didn't get all the nesessary connectors is because they usually come with the case. Buying a soundcard is probably a good idea considering that producing sound is going to be its main purpose. ;)
