depends if u want it to go faster (means spending much more money), or just look better.

you could start with a nice set of wheels, and lower it a bit. as well as colour coding and bits that are still just plastic to match the rest of the car.

hi and welcome to AMC

you might wanna start with:
- CAI (cold air intake)
- K&N panel or pod filter.
- Pacemaker extractors
- 2.5" exhaust

any questions just ask
i just thought i might type only the names of the things, not so much what they do so you can find out when you want to.

Dave.

when it comes to car audio have a chat to s_tim_ulate (tim) he seems to know a fair bit lol

If you wanna find some idea of what you can do to your car check out rpw's website HERE (www.rpw.com.au)

you could go to get parabolic head lights but they are rather expensive (headlights with round parts in them, you start to know them fairly quick)

i havent goit a magna but i have been around here for a while.

For your car (2nd Gen as it is refered to) the best modifications you can do is

New wheels, legal the largest you can go is 17 inch
The lower the car a little
Then a nice audio install
and finally a full 2.5inch exhaust

thanks for the tips everyone....basicly im not worried about the body, i know a bit about that cause its fairly simple. the only thing i need to know about the body is if and where i can get a great looking body kit at a reasonable price. rims etc are already covered. but im not to worried about that yet, still tips are still helpful thanks. i want the car to kick arse engine wise. i want her to be fast and pick up speed quickly and i want her to sound tough. i dont have a huge income so i need to be able to build her bit by bit and dont really know where to start.. i know i want a twin turbo eventually but basicly i dont know what other engine mods i have to do on this car to do that.

have a talk to ViP if you have a 4 cyl and Booya if its a v6 they have turboed their engines.
I know what you mean with slowly doing up a car, its too expensive lol . Bodykits wise, i'd say forget it and lower your car as they dont make a 2nd gen bodykit that is really decent. ViP is making a bodykit and it looks wicked, and i'm going to start making one fairly soon, if i finish it ill sell it to a company or something so others on AMC can enjoy.
Good Luck with modding, your car and i'd say start with the CAI and K&N panel or pod, this may cause a flat spot but after a couple more mods it should be fine.

just to let ya know if u want to twin turbo down the track u will need to rebuild ur entire engine . otherwise things will break or wear out fast. and ull be looking at anything from 6-12 grand.

if u want more power and better sound without paying 10g have a look at this. wont be easy to find but more cost effective.oh yeah welcome to AMC hopr u get all the info u need.
