Does anyone know if the KS Verada XI remote is the same as the KE or KF (one of them) brefily seen the remote of a KE/KF and looks the same as mine.... and all mitsu dealers tell me my remote isn't stock when it is...

Nah, they are different, although if your remote is factory (and in a Verada it should be) you should be able to get a replacement from your dealer. I think the TS/KS remote are a bit more expensice than the 3rd gen remotes though.

Open your boot and see if you can spot a grey box about 15cmx8cmx2cm under the boot
ceiling below where the centre mounted brake light is. That is the remote receiver. If it has one
than the previous owner probably lost it. If not than it may have been an xi only standard
feature.

It is, I went to a dealership the week after I got my car they said $60 I'm like sweet! turns outit was a KJ remote

A brand new KS one is over $200! :rant:

And the alram is standerd on ths XI, option on the TS/KS Ei
