hey all ummm my horn just died today i roll a 98 TF and one second it worked the next it didn't (no dieing sound or anything) just wondering if anyone knows whats happened or has had this problem

not hard at all (dont want airbag in the noggin) and it was just the top right side i pushed with thumb :(

All I can think of is maybe fuse or loose wire finally gave up? Not my specialty.....

Turn the ignition on but dont start it. With the bonnet open push the horn button a few times and listen for the relay to click. If it dont click its either the relay, the fuse or the switch.
If it does clisk the horn itself is dead. :D

In the meantime just use rude gestures. :badgrin: lol

lift the bonnet, go to the big fuse box on the passenger side. look for a ten amp fuse which shows no aparent reference to the horn (from memory, it's a light fuse. check for the blown one!) replace with a 15 amp fuse. I found that Mitsu used a ten, which didn't allow the required amount of ampage.
If you're uncomfortable doing this, don't. If you're happy to, DON'T use any more than a 15 amp. THE LAST FOUR LETTERS OF "OVERKILL", ARE THERE FOR A REASON!
