Coming from a  moded 1st gen and stepping in to a stock auto 3rd gen I am now slightly depressed.
Having to start all over again im looking for feedback on some mods preformed on 3.0L.
I’ve done a cannon muffler “impressive” and am now looking at CAI.
With things like Auto transmission cooler, lower, wheels, breaks ect in the pipeline
I want to know bang for your buck on things like
Oval filter in box vs k&Npanel vs stock filter
Extractors
Full exhaust
Twin Tb this looks good more info please
Port polish

Thanks
That would be a great help

I can honestly say that, it depends on wat you want from ur car weather that be looks or performance or even both. Then again you have 2 take into consideration the price of how much you want to put into your new 3rd gen.But by going by wat most people have done its really ya Wheels, Exhaust, Lowered to begin with then ya start otha modification such as ya pod filters, extractors, ported and polished mods pendin on wat ya want from ur car.!I startd with my 3rd gen at 17 and i did such things mags, lowered, exhaust and of course the pumpin stereo. Then afta a while i realised i wanted my performance so started off the the simple pod change to the K&N, went with the extractors now my new CAI aswell, there is a lil increase there but how far you take it is up to you.Jus my point of view dont know if it helped but yea its realli wat u want from ya car, and then evey1 on here can help ya.!
Then again check out the 3rd Gen FAQ page for other things.!
Kieran.Peace.

Performance wise I will be doing the usual mods
Wheels, Lower, CAI, K&N, slotted rotors, full exhaust, ect
As I have in my first gen I am familiar with the usual gains from these mods.

Now what I am trying to find out is power gains other people have experienced with mods like
Twin Throttle Body’s
Port and polish
Chip
Cams

Prices compared to Actual Performance gains and are not mentioned in the 3rd gen FAQ page this is the info I am after

Thank you

Magna auto's just arn't the best base to start with if going to the expense of performance mods you want to undertake.
