Got my exhaust done last week and got the finishing touches put on it all this arvo. The system is Pacemaker extractors, 2.5" press bent with 3" metalcat high flow cat, split into dualies with 2 x redback mufflers and 4 x 3" tips. I'll have to get a sound clip of it soon. This is how it looks now...

how much did it set you back.. was there much room for the second exhaust on the left side? How much was the plastic welding for the left side also? (if ya dont mind me askinlol)

Nah I don't mind. :D The exhaust system was $1500. The guys at the exhaust shop cut the left hand side of the rear bar for me to fit the tips temporarily, then I took it to a plastics guy who moulded it and sprayed the whole rear bar. Took 2 days to do that. Cost another $300.

Mine's only got a dealer warranty, no new car warranty on it. Not sure if it voided that.

i want the same thing (dont we all?) but 4 x 3 1/2" tips, not circle but not square....in between....and with a non-rolled edge.

Didnt like the second sound clip though.. im hopping that it was just the recorder but it sounded a bit like a datsun 200B bush basher..:P

Thanks for all the positive replies. The vid clips don't really do the sound of the exhaust any justice. There's not enough bass. Speed limiter was set to 120.

No dyno proof or anything, but it feels like it's got heaps more. Especially at the top end of the rev range, 4500-6500rpm there's a lot more there now. It picks up a bit better too. Getting EZBoys CAI soon (soon as he sends it :rant:) and then saving up for a chip + tune, so i'll get a dyno reading then, but that won't be for a while yet... But yeah, overall quite a noticeable gain, and an awesome sound track!
