There is also a TJ 1.5, does yours have the digital odometer? if so, its A TJII.

EDIT: Oops, yours is an AWD? In that case TJII (Dec 02?)

Not sure about sports.. in the VRX there is a series 1.5.. its didnt have digital dash.. it did have climate and the 17inch wheels.. Series two got the digi dash.. :D

july 01 when they changed from the VRX spoiler to the lower spoiler not sure if that was the cutover.

has it got a series 2 badge on the back? :bowrofl:

Well, It has digital odometer in dash (centre of actual cluster) and the trip computer runs through there also instead of centre binacle (only alternator, oil lights in there I think).
So I am assuming Series II TJ.
The car has No series II badge though otherwise I wouldn't of started the thread.

series II. I have a series I and no climate cntrl or DAB. Also mits didnt put a series II badge the sports. and yeh it was around july/august the when the II came out

Also mits didnt put a series II badge the sports. Yes they did. Mine is badged a series 2. 03/03 build.

My sports has the same options, and also isn't badged S2. I wonder why they didn't badge them properly.

ok going by MMAL Workshop manual information the way to tell is :

Series 1: Start of Production until 31st July 2001
Series 1 1/2: 1st August until feb 2002
Series 2: 1st MArch 2002 until End of production.

AWD revision: Dec 2002.

Dates are Production Dates so check compliance dates.
