Hey guys

Can anyone clarify the following:

1. Is the lukey LR2779 better than the stock VRX muffler?
2. If i change my exhaust on the VRX from 2.25' to 2.5' will i notice any difference? What about the sound?
3. What's the difference between a Verada Tail Light and the stock VRX tail lights? Any pics
4. How much are the owners of VRX paying insurance? Any help and advice on insurance would be helpful
5. K&N Pod? Any gains? Not interested in a CAI at the moment

Thank You

Don't bother with a pod, unless you have a cai. Your car will be slower and more lethargic.

I pay $804 with AAMI. Rating 1, 22 yr old.

Thank YouAll of this stuff has been covered before.. I'd abuse you for not using the search engine, but seriously, the search feature leaves a little to be desired sometimes.

1. Should be negligable difference. As far as I know Lukey/Walker make the VR-X muffler.
2. Yes. Do it right and it will sound great. Do it wrong and it will be tinny or drone.
3. Verada lights are all red but for a 1" white band across the bottom. They also don't have a reversing bulb as the reversing lights are in the boot garnish on the KJ. Hunt around for a pic of [WTCHME]'s car.
5. K&N Pod is fine, but you must enclose it and give it a good cold air feed otherwise you're sucking in hot, thin, underbonnet air and you'll negate all of the flow benefits.

If your car has a 3.5l engine and has the factory exhaust then it's already 2.4' mandrel bent piping. Spend your money elsewhere.
