does anyone know what has to be done to replace the interior light globe?

Just replace it with another one or you mean do something different to it?

I stole WGNBOY's idea and put a 50w halogen downlight in there instead...it's amazing.

that black thing under the bonnet is the fuse box :)

Globe is in side that transparent plastic in the middle of of your roof, use a screw driver take out the cover and take the globe out , and get the same one from repco :)
