gday, i see alot of u all with painted sections on ur console etc...
just wonderin what type of paint it is, whether its vinyl paint or what? whered u get it from? and roughly how much a can or whatever...

sand it down with 1500 grit first, or whatever to make it smooth, then your $2 can of aussie export primer, follwered by a coat of besired color, then a wet sand (2000) between coats.
then you can use $2 aussie export or whatever brand clear on top.
take time, dont rush, no need for special paint, just make sure the surface is clean aswell:D

If you have used armor all on any surface you may be destined for some trouble. wash it in wax & grease remover first.
I have had my interior parts painted with 2 pac paint from when i had exterior parts painted. I know the colour on the interior is exactly the same as the outside as it is the same paint.

yeh tuff TR is on the money there..
although thats only for the plastic's.. eg console plastics.. vents.. all the hard plastic..
and i would say use a acrylic paint..but thats just me...
anything vinyl you will need a vinyl paint.. about 8 bucks from supercheap,,,
i have done mine i will post some pics up soon..
actually i have to redo a few bits :P wrong colour :(
hehe but for 5 bucks who cares....

i got mine done by a spraypainter ... $140 to do the lot and he put heaps of clear finish on so it does'nt wear off the paint as easy over time
been on for about 6 months now and still not a mark on it
