Nope.
This has been discussed before. The only legal way you could get them is if a manufacturer designed them to ADR standards, which most likely is not going to happen.
Most after-market lights that you see are illegal, and you'll find yourself in deep **** if you get into an accident with them.
Unless Misubishi/Ralliart/Lucas/etc go to the trouble of making them, then chances of seeing them are basically zero.

only thing you CAN do IM GUESSING is to take off the outer "lens" or whatever you call it, and myabe ring up a plastics place to see if they can make a direct mould but in clear/silver?
would that work?
sorry if that made no sense but i have never taken a rear light apart before so i wouldnt know exactly if thats possible

They're talking about tail lights, not indicators.
The plastic itself is red, there's nothing to remove.

Thats a diamante, you can convert your rear to this fairly easily, but would have to import the back from New Zealand.

No apparently the diamante boot is longer than ours. So it might not actually fit.

Hmmm even if this is true, should still be able to mount the boot garnish onto a 2nd gen boot lid, may have to make some holes for the lights though that sit in the garnish. I know someone on here or fastmagna has done it as i remember reading and seeing it.

Nope..look closely at the boot lid.
Our garnish is a separate unit to the boot lid.
Theirs isn't. The easiest way to tell is by looking at the bottom of the boot lid closely..you'll see there's no end to the garnish and the last little bit of the boot lid before the bumper.
Sorry..not that it's the part of the boot..I mean that it's not the same size.

Pretty sure they're a different shape too...even if they're not...would it be worth getting a whole diamnate boot lid jsut for that?

Ahhh yes i see what you're saying now. Maybe you could get a TS garnish and take out the reflectors and replace them with the lights, they look a similar size?
I'm sure someones done it, i remember seeing before and after pics of it.
I'm sure you'd be able to modify it somehow, maybe having to extend the holes or something?

Bah that's loser talk :P.
I reckon if you were determined enough you could modify it, whether you cut the diamante garnish to fit OR you cut holes in your existing garnish to fit the middle tail light/reverse light. With enough patience and the right skills it could be done.
Is the actual diamante boot a different size to ours? just replacing the boot would be the easiest option if it fits.
Would probably look sh!t though if not done properly lol.

Anything can be done given the time, money & skill.
I used to have a friend that made those twin cab WB Statesmans - he used the front off a Statesman, the rear of a ute and the roof off a wagon.
He also made a twin cab VK Commodore (remember, this was before they made commodore utes!) - the rear part was made from the wagon - and looked A1.
I also remember seeing a guy on the Diamante forum that used BMW lights in the front of a 2nd Gen and something different for the tail lights that involved changing the metal work around the lights.
But (and here lies the biggy question) does anyone here have the time, money & skill and the energy/need to do this.
Anyway, here's another option...
Get a set of 2nd gen tails, send them to the US - get them converted & sent back to Aus. Cost was around US$250-$300 + postage both ways last time I emailed this guy around a year ago. But alas I never had the money for it, then decided I was happy enough with tinted tails.
But someone here may wish to give it a go... (no guarantees from me tho)
Croat's Custom Tails:
http://www.elusivemfg.777h.org/
- Go to the above website, click on the picture, then select '.images.'
Oh, and if someone is going to try this, may I suggest ONE person send him an email (so he doesn't get flooded), get a price for one & try the conversion (maybe a few 2nd GENers pool together with the funds???).
Then if it works & looks good, then we approach the uy with a larger order (and maybe discounted frieght & conversion work).

I dont think it's me who's talking loser talk...
I already talked about the bootlid swap, seriously dude...read my posts fully.
And to be perfectly honest, why would you bother? It's going to cost a mint to get a D' boot sent over here, then there's the high possibility it wont fit, then theres the time and money needed to change the garnish across...to get a look that doesn't look any better than the TS garnish. But seeing as though you're so willing to disregard everything I say, I wont bother with anymore advice.

Settle down boys lol
TR-Envy, Yes anythings possible given the $$$ & intention but it's gotta be worth the result. I'd rather spend the $$$ that a Diamante conversion would take - to get a set of custom made tailights (from the US?) or just save my $$$. But each to their own.
Killbilly, I doubt he meant it in a bad way. Given anybody on this forum - you would be one of the best around to know about custom fitting components given your DOHC conversion efforts.
We would all love different tail lights but given the age of our model Magna and the non-revhead / non-racer reputation. It ain't gonna happen on a large scale production line.
(then mine being a wagon - my hope is even less :doubt: )

To be honest i reckon it doesn't look that great either, but if someone liked the look of it, they'd be willing to put their $$ into something that would look fairly unique (over here anyway). It's just a matter of opinion. And with the boot lid, you say you're not sure whether they are a different size, i was merely saying that investigating that could be worth while if it indeed turned out that it would fit :).
I see what you're saying, you dont like it, so you think it's a waste of money, which is fair enough. If someone wants to put that rear end on their 2nd gen bad enough they could do it with some determination, that's all i'm saying.
And yeh lol i didn't mean it in a bad way, homer simpson quote (who takes the simpsons seriously? :P).
personally, clear tail lights for any car looks trashy, It wouldn't be bad getting some swish diamante lights and boot lid but clear, no no..

My opinion (for those not interested lol )
Light coloured cars (eg. White, Silver) look good with Clear or Chrome/Silver Altezza's.
Dark Coloured cars (eg. Black, Burgundy) look good with tinted or Black/CarbonFibre Altezza's.
Not totally sure about the "Croat's Custom Tails" (see above) - jury is still out on them - but at least they're different.
One of my concerns is that the website (and eg photo's) has not changed for about 2 years.
