Anyone had any experience of rebuilding 3rd gens?

Specifically, I have a 96 TE whose performance seems less than adequate (i've owned it for 7 years) It's got 175k's on the clock.

Does anyone have any experience of rebuilding a TE engine and the costs involved? :doubt:

Only 175k's... should still be like new! ive heard of these things running upwards of 300k's and still like new....lol

Instead of a rebuild I would look at getting a 3.5 with fewer k's on it.
